Dear Heidi:

I am so happy for you and I congratulate you and Jules on the amazing news of

being pregnant. I can imagine how happy you both feel. It is a wonderful

event. I never had any children and I am now 54, having been sick since I

was 16 having a child was not an option for me. I would have loved to have

children and I know I would have been as happy as you are. I never married

either. I had kidney disease at 16 and went on dialysis when I was 21 for 18

years. Then I had a transplant 16 years ago, so there wasn't any time to

think about having a baby. I was too busy trying to keep myself alive.

Well, enough about me. This letter is to wish you congratulations for the

amazing, exciting, event that God has blessed upon you and Jules.
