Guest guest
Well Liz, sounds like you are having a life. Good to hear. I use to be able to do so much, but just going to the market for an hour one day I know the next I will be worn out and have to stay in. Went to a church function last Sunday, it was 4 hours long, well needless to say I was in bed the next day. It is so frustrating!!! I have been on disability for 6 years now, and have help come in to do heavy housework for me. It all seems heavy some days, but I can wash dishes and fold clothes. But how long have you had this stuff bothering you? I just wonder what the longevity of it is, or if anybody knows? I sure wish I could be with you out there, have fun. Guest guest
Hi everyone, Just a quick note before i head out for the gym and back to work after 4 days! Saw my rheumy yesterday. He's pleased with how well I am doing. Pain, on the average is a " 1 " . However, my C-Reactive Protein is on the rise! I'm disturbed, he is puzzled. We discussed the recent findings that suggest that elevated C-Reactive Protein is an early marker for developing heart disease. He says he has discussed this with cardiologists and they are skeptical. His other comment was, " treat the patient, not the labs " . Still, he had me run by the lab and have some more tests run. Wish I could tell you what they were, (well actually, one was a SED rate) but I don't remember what the other one was. It was unfamiliar to me. There appears to be some kind of inflammatory process going on, flies in the face of how well I feel, weird... Suzanne
