Guest guest
In an attempt to not feel so alone in the world and coping w/RA, is anyone in the greater Seattle, WA area (within an hour N or S) who would like to get together for lunch soon?? I've decided I need to reach out and gather together an " in person more local support group " to supplement this wonderful on-line group!!. On another note, the kids and I are flying back East to Manchester, NH on Dec 23 and back on the 3rd of Jan with about a 3 hr layover in Chicago. Anyone able to meet us for a late afternoon visit?? ?? Anyone else in the Chicago area interested?? Elly Cyr Arlington, WA
Guest guest
Say there, Elly! My kids are free from school on both days, but Monday the 23rd is a music lesson day and probably will be an ugly just-before-Christmas day. I can't think of anything that would stop me from coming January 3rd though. Do you have a layover on both days? Will you please refresh my memory and tell me how old your children are (and their names)? Guest guest
Hi Elly, I was born in Manchester and lived there (in tandem with a second home in Hampton, NH) until I graduated from High School. Small world, isn't it? Guest guest
This is an interesting topic. I've been feeling lonely lately, even though I have a nice husband and an affectionate teenage daughter, and lots of loving extended family members. I think I'm lonely because there hasn't been much time to nurture relationships with women friends with whom I have things in common. They are busy with family and work and so am I. But these relationships are the most satisfying to me. Sometimes when I'm feeling lonely I realize that I'm not centered within myself. Meditation helps that. Sierra > > Hi again.
