Group Hug

Hi All,

Just wanted to send a group hug--sounds like a bunch of us are in

need right now.

Tess--If I'd known you were awake, I would have emailed you sooner.

I slept pretty good last night, and don't want to stop yet!

--Please see your doctor about that dizziness--it's nothing to

mess with. And don't worry about what to do when you're retired--Ron

has been retired four years and still hasn't figured it out, but he

enjoys puttering with many different things. I'm 10 years younger

than he is, so not " officially " retired, but we do things when we

can. Some days it is just a drive to a museum (we found a cool auto

museum) and some days it is just sitting and talking. Of course we

have our grandson one day a week, and that is fun and challenging,

but he keeps us young. Ron is going to volunteer at the food pantry

when he feels stronger. He's doing physical therapy right now to

help with his Parkinson's. Take care, and you're in our prayers too.

Heidi--I'll send you a long email maybe this afternoon. We're having

friends over for chili and some board games tonight, so I've got to

pick up a little. At least the chili is easy to make, and they are

bringing their own beverages and I'm serving ice cream for dessert!

Can I be your American mommy and tadpole's Nonny?

To our new people--glad you have found us. I haven't been in the

group that long either, but it is wonderful to have this support.

And some of our doctors even appreciate the feedback that this group

has come up with. Welcome!

OK, time for me to go. The prednisone seems to be working, and it is

good to be able to type with 8 fingers instead of two!
