Guest guest
Thank you for giving me advise, I am waiting to hear back from the PD. I do want to say, I called my pharmacist today to go ver this issue and she looked up what she could only to tell me there is no known dosage for pediatric patients, yet even when it was only available through prescription it was used very often for kids. So how is it that there is still no info? Here is what I found thanks to Jeanie Ward in the files section. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: The usual adult dose for Miralax is one 17gm packet day per day in eight ounces of water, juice, soda, coffee, or tea. Approximately two to four days may be required to produce a bowel movement. The safety and effectiveness of Miralax has not been established in pediatric patients. Does anyone have any good idea why there is no new info? This was from a 2002 paper.....
