A Poem for

Lynn

Treat ME Kind by S. B.

When you see that I’m in pain,

Hold ME close and stroke my veins.

Gentle and mild so take your time,

Ask yourself just what to do.

If you see that I can’t eat,

When you know I used to like my meat.

Take away my pills,

Clear the decks and pay my bills.

Again I say let ME sleep.

Ask yourself just what to do.

Treat ME kind with peace of mind.

Let ME go to where I came

Slip away and out of pain.

Let my troubles cease,

Let ME be at last at peace.
