Guest guest
Hello everyone, sorry I have missed all your posts, trying to catch up this morning. I am back at my usual place at church this morning, though awfully sore & achy. I was hoping the prednisone would give me more freedom and less pain, but guess I have been " pushing the envelope. " Well heck, I thought with this medication I could just go back to how I used to do things, lots of hard work. We received Ron's Aunt Rose's apartment contents--a half truckload, over 100 boxes plus furniture, on Saturday, and have worked for 2 days getting things unpacked, with still 20 boxes to go. It was cold in the garage, and by last night I was in agony! got an appt. with the new rheumy this Friday afternoon, and hoping she is on the ball. She is a new doctor, and comes highly recommended. With Ron not able to do all he used to (climbing ladders, going up & down stairs a lot) that leaves much to me. My dear sweet son in law has turned completely around and is now cleaning their house, doing laundry, cooking, and taking care of their little boy more. with his job schedule (7-6 every day) I hate to ask him to do much, I'd rather see him do what he is, taking care of his little group, but he did come Saturday and move furniture for us. I may hire a high school boy from church to rake leaves this week. Just wanted to ask, about the prednisone, did anyone have any side effects like dizziness, rapid heartbeat, very tired? Don't know if it is just this sinus infection that I'm battling too, but I discontinued the Clarinex I was taking for that just to see. I have had zero appetite, been drinking lots of water, so haven't gained any weight, actually lost a couple of pounds. Hope you all have a good Monday!
