Cripes - I got sick last year (Sept24th actually) with ear and sinus

infections. Simply could not shake them for weeks. Seemingly I have

never gotten better since. Horrible coccyx pain since and daily flu-

like symptons of total body pain where I could not function. Numbness

in neck, stiffness and bad back pain. I USED to be 6'1 probably now

about 5'9...lol. 5 MRI's, 4 ER visits, 3 urgent care, 2 paramedics and

1 ambulance ride. My own special Xmas song. Unable to work since Feb.

Thankful for disability pay from work.

I am being treated with gabapentin, impramine, citalopram with

tramadol and hydrocodone apap for pain. The gabapentin does work on the

coccyx pain but everything else continues on. It seems that there could

be something else that they could do as this can't be a long term

solution. I went to the Mayo Clinic and diagnosed (finally) in August

but my doctor here has not even seen their report and recommendations!

At least he didn't bum-rush me out the door as two doctors did here -

They accused me of looking for scripts as I have long hair and tattoos.

(Jerks!!) Any suggestions for a local person in Albuquerque (or within

500 miles) that takes BC/BS?

This has pretty much wrecked my life as I knew it. I'm really

impressed how people disappear when one is having issues. I really hate

the fact that my 19 and 17 year old daughters have to take care of

their dad while going to school. The daily flu-like has diminished but

most of the neck and back pain still (mainly)comes and goes. My energy

level can be good but it will drop off rapidly if I push it and then

last for days. It feels like a bathtub draining when it happens.

If anyone need a synopsis on a SpongeBob episode for any reason just

ask...
