Guest guest
Hi, everyone, I have been on Synthroid or Levoxothyrine since 1991. I had tethered cord surgery in October, 2007, as well as decompression surgery for Chiari in October, 2005. I had my TSH tested in March, 2008 and it was reading 4.90 (scale 0.34-5.60). My Synthroid was upped to 175 mcg from 150 mcg. I had it tested on May 12, 2008 and it was 4.15 (scale 0.35- 5.5). The meds do not seem to be making much of a difference. I have been having difficulty swallowing lately, and have overwhelming fatigue and aching muscles and bones. Can anyone shed any light on any of this?
