Drug interactions

Hi guys,

Just thought I'd share with you what I learned from the hospital

pharmacist this morning. Been having difficulty breathing for the

past week since starting the prednisone, but found out that the

breathing problems were caused by the pred's interaction with the

Clarinex he prescribed for my sinus infection! So I'm off the

Clarinex (probably permanently!)and just using Zicam for the

sinuses. That stuff is good! I guess not everyone would have the

same reaction, but since I have allergies to different things, like

novocaine, epinephrine, and pentothal I must be super sensitive.

Off to the rheumy tomorrow--wish me luck!
