Guest guest
Hi Dianne...Thank you for the kind post. He did write a script for Trazadone. I have taken it in the past at I believe a 150 mg. level for sleep. It seemed to work for awhile, but I began getting a creepy feeling anxiety an hour or so after taking it. So, we went to elavil. My rheummy wrote a script for 10mg elavils (I was taking 50mg) and asked me to try to wean down, and try the 50mg lower dose of Trazadone. So, tonight is the night. I'm hoping it will work. The summer of 2001 I had a seige of insomnia with little sleep for 2 months and ended up in the hospital. People who don't have sleep issues, God bless them, have NO clue how horrible insomnia or waking in pain, muscle cramps, spasms can be. I hope this doesn't offend but the writer Flannery O'Connor, who had lupus and a very strong faith, wrote " Sleep is the Mother of God. " I don't think anyone could describe this more eloquently. Thank you, Dianne, for the encouragement. It means so much. Love & Hugs... Tess
