i got swelling on synthroid that i never had on armour as a teen

(long story)

didn't happen over night, and it wasn't until the last few years that

my face started looking swollen (eyes for example()

--one thing that no one has mentioned, but which i feel is very

important for ALl of us,, is water retention caused by the adrenals/

Adrenal Fatigue.

i think folks , with insurance,, should start testing the Other

adrenal hormone :) cuz aldosterone and its affect on the

Electrolytes , na,k, calcium, magnesium ) is SO important,

and i am starting to believe, is the actual cause of a lot of the

symtpoms that HypoT/AF folks have...

btw, my first sign was being thin but with a bigger belly that

changed size over a few days 9from flat to bloated)

amd

i had Pitting edema in ankles, but i also couldn't pinch my Upper

arm or thigh skin (the " myxedema pinch test :)

now that i am back on armour, i am still having a big problem with

swelling.. (got extremely adrenally fatigued before i Woke Up and

started researching :(

i *Finally tested and found i had high aldosterone and renin (but

not high enough to alarm dr, espcialy since my PRA ratio = Normal)

wish i had tested this when i felt my worst.

i think it would have saved me a lot of time, and energy and

suffering..
