Guest guest
Hi, everyone, I am new to this post. Long story short, I was diagnosed with thyroid issues about 20 years ago, took medication for a long time and it did not help much. Fast forward to 2005, when I was diagnosed with a chiari I malformation. I had decompression surgery and a fusion of C4- C5 in October,2005, developed an infection which necessitated taking out the titanium plate which was placed there, in April, 2006. Was feeling a little better until symptoms came back. Was diagnosed with tethered cord syndrome and had TC surgery in October, 2007. Symptoms still persist and thyroid levels were very much out of whack as they have been for a long time. Does anyone know about a connection among all these things? Add to the mix that I have had a high eosinophil level which sometimes, I understand, is related to autoimmune disease and/or connective tissue disorders. I know this is a lot of stuff, but any help will be appreciated. Many thanks, Ray
