Guest guest
Hi All Well I got an Inspiration Healthdyne 626 today and used it for the first time, all went well. Then I thought what do I do about the Advair 500 that I have used for 3 years twice a day, like can I just stop using it, of course when I thought about it the doctors office was closed. Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you, Karol
Guest guest
Karol, What meds are you using in the nebulizer? Iptatroprium and albuterol? If that is the case, those do not replace the Advair. Advair is a controller med & most of the meds for the nebulizer are rescue type meds and do not do the same thing. You really should not stop the Advair without speaking with your doc on Monday. Advair 500 is a dose of steroids. You do need to talk to your doctor. I believe the 500 is the highest dose of the advair. I went off advair for 3 or 4 days by forgetting it and I definately saw that I wasn't breathing as well.
