Guest guest
I've been making the rounds with some of my doctors to really try to get to the bottom of some of my symptoms. I asked my GP (who I only use at this point for blood tests, etc) for a full panel, TSH and also to test my adrenals. I won't get into the " par-for-the-course " dimissal of symptoms and refusal to test some things but I have a question. He did the blood panel (blood chem, etc) but said he could not do the adrenal test because it involves a " big process " . The bloodwork I did today required fasting so I thought that would be fine to do this test as well. Can someone who has had that adrenal testing done let me know what it really involves? Needless to say, he did not allow a test for T3, T4, anti-thyroid, Celiac or the Adrenals. What a gem. I plan to begin care with a Naturopath who was recommended to me along with my current Endo at U of Penn. I will be seeing a gastroentologist for my digestive issues next week. My New Years resolution this year is to just keep on my doctors no matter what to get to the bottom of all of my symptoms. I don't care if Ihave to go back every week or see a new doctor every week but I want ALL of my symptoms to be diagnosed and not simply dismissed ANYMORE. Thanks in advance for any info on the adrenal testing. Colleen Neil South Jersey
