Hi Roe, Welcome and enjoy…your story is interesting because my doc swore

that I could NEVER have Lyme on tope of the ME (I do have the neurological

ME) and started screaming at me about it! Needless to say, I got another doc

<sigh>. Whey is it so hard for some to understand, that just because you

have one thing, you can still have something else, but everything is chalked

up to the one thing. Good that you have a good Lyme doc.

I am so sorry to hear of your toxic mold poisoning. And I totally understand

that sense of being too ill to deal with it, and it sounds like you have

already done so much to eradicate it from your life, but somehow you have

to, because that is what is making you so particularly ill these days. So

frustrating I’m sure. What type of climate are you living in? Of course,

damp and humidity really make those molds grow…I have to be very careful

renting because mold is everywhere around here (West coast of Canada). It is

much harder to fight it if you are surrounded by it <sigh>.

But you do know partly at least what to do…get on your antifungals and take

it from there…some good, natural antifungal supports are Garlic, Oil of

Oregano, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Vit. C etc. Is it possible that it is left

over in your system (ie, you treated it and got it low enough to go

asymptomatic, but did not totally eradicate it and now it has re-bloomed in

your system), and not coming from your present environment? Search your

place EVERYWHERE for mold and destroy it, if any!

The other thing is that I found that the best cure for sinus infections and

troubles is simply nasal lavage, or using a Neti pot. This is a simple way

to rinse any buggies out of there with salt water. I totally cured a 3 year

run of them (in early ME) this way, when the bloody drugs could not budge

it, and I have never had a recurrence, just use the pot whenever my sinuses

feel a bit iffy. Good Luck to you, and I hope that you are feeling much

better very soon. Aylwin xox

This turn of events makes no sense, does it? You thought you did

everything you possibly could. What in the world could explain blood

showing toxic mold after moving to a clean environment and throwing

away everything you thought associated with toxic mold?

I'm sure the blood tests don't " say " toxic mold, exactly. Could the

doctor be misinterpreting the blood tests? What do the blood tests

actually show? What are the components of blood the doctor has

associated with toxic mold? What are other possibilities of the same

blood test result?

Getting rid of things and moving can be symbols for moving forward in

pursuit of better health, a new life. You may need to move again. I

have mold, but I know I cannot move. Even if I had the money, I am not

sure I could handle the stress of people in my house doing the work of

ripping out walls and so forth. Nevertheless, I am improving in

interesting ways while remaining disabled, pursuing what I can handle,

optimistic about recovery, eventually.

Good luck with help and direction going forward.

Before CFS I had several nasty sinus infections. The 1st one I was put on

antibiotics. Then I got a Neti pot (now available at CVS pharmacy or maybe

Whole Foods). Another nasty sinus infections and I nettied about 5 times a

day with a few steam facials and the infection cleared right up. I try to

neti about 3 times a week as a preventative measure. It feels a bit weird at

first but it really works.

Good luck

Lois
