Hi Tess,

I'm very happy to hear that there's no evidence of cancer. I know that you

are nervous about the upcoming procedure. I would be too. I am still having

some probs in that area too. I told my gyne about some pain that I was

having and he ordered some tests. They showed an ovarian cyst. Pretty

common. He said that it was too small to really do anything about and that

they usually dissolve on their own. Basically it was an egg that didn't

release properly, so it was stuck in the ovary and would take care of itself.

Anyway, I told him that I wanted my tubes ties anyway and he said that he

could do an exploratory while he was in there. I told him that if he found

anything wrong, to just remove the whole thing, as I was done with it anyway.

LOL. He just laughed at me. Well after the surgery, he told me that

everything looked just fine and that the cyst had dissolved. See, I can't

even pay someone to get rid of the darned thing. It is still giving me a lot

of pain, but they say that there is nothing wrong. It is the cysts. I have

to go back in January for my annual appt and plan on seeing if there is

anything that can possibly get rid of this pain. There are some other

symptoms too, but I really don't want to get into that here. Then with the

hormonal changes that are causing the breast discharge problem that I talked

about earlier......they think that they are all related to hormones. Maybe I

just need a GOOD man to take care of all these extra hormones. LOL!!!!!

Boy, that was a long story. I think I need to take a break after all

that!!!!!!

I hope that the procedure goes well and that you don't have too much pain

with it. I can't tell you not to worry, because I would worry, and you will

too. Just know that I love you dearly and I will be praying for you. Let me

know when the procedure is scheduled and keep us all informed.

Love You

Stacey in PA

This is so strange. I just went to my OB/GYN yesterday and was supposed to

have a HYSTEROSONOGRAM. Unfortunately, they were not able to insert the

catheter after three painful tries. The doc did find a large solid mass

with the regular ultrasound and I am supposed to have a Hysteroscopy and D & C

also. Then I will have to have the mass removed at another time because it

is too much for the body all at once. They will do a biopsy though. I

agree it is very scary. Now I know where the low back pain comes from! My

doc didn't seem to think the hysteroscopy was a big deal and said that I

would be home the same day. I just want to make sure they give me something

so I don't know what is going on or feel any pain. It sounds like you have

a good doctor that you trust and that helps a great deal. Keep your mind

busy and try not to be scared. They do these procedures all the time. I don

't know my doctor very well but she seems to care. I will be having the

procedure done in the next few weeks also so I will watch for info on your

progress. Good luck with it.

Hi...My gyn called today...she is really sweet...the pathology report

shows no evidence of cancer. However, she said the report said there

was some unusual blood in the sample, so she is having them do a double

check. What her biggest concern is that even though I am on

Depo-Provera shots, the lining of my uterus continues to thicken, and

she wants to make sure no cancerous/precancerous polyps are hiding in

the thick lining. Therefore, she is scheduling me for a hyster...golly,

I CAN NOT get the name right...hyterostomy, hysterol...eeek...it will be

under IV sedation & cervical numbing..they will go in and examine every

inch of my uterus, and follow it with a D & C. She wants it done in the

next few weeks. She called my PCP, who called me and said to come in

next Tuesday for a fasting pre-op.

I am really grateful for physicians who really care, and I am a little

scared now. Guess that's normal. Lots of mixed emotions whirling

about.

Please keep me in your prayers.

I love you all...

Tess

Hi JB, My Dr. talked about a hysterosonogram, but because of my

weight/size, she felt it would be very difficult to do and perhaps not

give us the information we are seeking. I had a benign mass the size &

shape of a football on my right ovary and fallopian tube, which they

removed in 1990. It does seem these conditions & procdures are more

common than I ever thought!

Keep me posted & I'll do the same.

Love & Hugs & Hope...

Tess

Absolutely do not let your plastic surgeon take them out this way. This is

a sure fire way to have the contents of the implants spilled into your

chest, and he will not be taking out the scar tissue, which is full of

silicone.
