Guest guest
, There are other explanations for these lumps besides cancer. Peripheral infections are associated with RA although it is uncommon. A biopsy is necessary to find out what it is. Did your doctor talk to you about this? http://www.vashishtsurgicalservices.co.uk/benign_disease/gp_info/abscess_gp. htm http://www.hersource.com/breast/01/01f06.cfm a > > Hi everyone, > Hope your holiday was good.Has anyone had ra nodules in their chest wall or > axilla? Guest guest
Hi , I've had lumps under my arms in the lymph node area before, although not in the breast area. They were painful, like cysts, and responded to antibotics by completely clearing up. I had them before I was diagnosed with RA, but I had symptoms of RA at the time. Hopefully it will turn out to be a benign problem. Love and hugs, Carol Re: [ ] Has anyone had this problem? , There are other explanations for these lumps besides cancer. Guest guest
Hi , I haven't had nodules in the places that you have described, but every dr that I have seen over the past couple of years has asked me if I have thyroid problems. It seems that the area where my thyroid is, seems to always be a bit enlarged. I have been tested over and over again for thyroid probs, but all tests were negative. I still have no idea what this is all about, but it doesn't seem to bother me, so I just leave it alone. Love and Hugs Stacey in PA
Guest guest
Yes, Marie, I am sorry to say I have this problem, and even sorrier to say I don't have a clue what to do about it. How low is your cholesterol? And exactly what hormone problems are you having? Do you mind telling your age? I have been having hot flashes for at least 12 years. I could never understand why they were lasting so long. I recently had blood work done for a life insurance policy. That is how I found out about the hep c. That is also how I found out I have abnormally low cholesterol. I thought that was a GOOD thing until I did some research! Now the hot flashes make sense. I am probably not making much of any of the steroid hormones. (Strangely, other than the hot flashes and some other minor things, I had not been feeling bad until just a couple weeks ago. Now the hot flashes are almost unbearable and I feel like I am 90 years old, with pain in the whole bottom half of my body. Go figure.) Unfortunately, I can't visit the doctor for any of this until I get some insurance, which I am working on. So I don't know anything about the status of my liver right now. But I do know that if I could get some help with my hormones, I would probably go back to feeling good again. Problem is, I can't find any information on how to raise cholesterol, and without it, I guess I'm out of luck for now. Anyway, if you have not yet done this, I suggest you google " hypocholesterolemia " . It is NOT a good thing to have! I don't mean to be nosy, but I would love to hear more about what you are experiencing with this. Robin > > I am a female and my hormones aren't being processed because of two problems first my liver is not processing fats right. and the other is low cholestereol, since hormones come from cholesterol. Anyone heard about tjis? >
