Hi Kathy...our Thanksgiving was really lovely. Today it's another

story, physically, but I am so grateful for the wonderful time.

Hi Kathy,

I'm sorry we didn't get to meet, too! No, I didn't get to meet Al or to get

to Deerfield. I went downtown for lunch and shopping at Marshall Field's,

and then I went to the Art Institute. I really loved all the Impressionist

works as well as some of the 20th century American artists. I went alone

and let Stan rest, but I had a great time. By the time I was done, though, I

was exhausted and we still had to have dinner with some friends. We went to

a nice steakhouse, but I was too tired to do anything else by the end of the

evening.

I'm sorry you've had such a tough time lately, and I'm sending you a big
