Hi All,

I want to thank you all for your concerns. Sorry I'm not replying

individually, but it hurts to sit for long. I am trying to keep up with

reading the posts though. I called the dr's office this a.m. and they got me

in at 1:30 this afternoon. I saw the P.A. and she felt around the area and

did not feel any muscle abnormality. That is exactly what I was afraid of.

She sent me for x-rays and referred me back to the neuro who did my surgery.

The tech let me look at the pics, which really don't show much except for

space narrowing. I don't know if that is from the surgery in May or from

something recent. I should have some answers Wednesday. She did not give me

any pain meds and I didn't ask for any. I have been taking my percocet.

Nothing really helps though. I have tried flexeril, indocin, heat, and

tylenol. No relief. The P.A. suggested an ice pack, but with it being so

cold outside, I just can't bear the thought of putting cold on my back.

All of our snow has melted, but we are expecting really cold temps tonight.

Around 15 degrees F. I usually don't worry about shoveling snow. I don't

have much of a sidewalk to care for. I just throw some salt on it and that

usually takes care of it. My driveway is short and ends at the highway. So

I usually sit in the car at the top of the hill until the coast is clear then

gun it and plow right through. Wyatt just loves when I do that. I think its

fun too! LOL I am lucky to have a car that goes very well in the snow.

Right now, I am trying to get some laundry done. Wyatt goes back to school

tomorrow, and I have been putting it off. But we can't put it off any

longer. Don't worry, I am doing small loads and have rigged the basked with

string so that I can pull it up the steps.

Love and Hugs

Stacey in PA
