Guest guest
The temp here is around 25 to 28 in Northern N.J. We had alittle snow and a snow day off school. The kids loved it but what confusion a snowday can cause!!!!! I don't look forward to shoveling this year it is going to be hard on my wrists. Maybe santa will send me a snowblower... The cold is so hard on my hands, fingers and joints. Are there special gloves that RA suffers can buy? Something special we can wear to keep our hands extra warm? I'm looking forward to X-mas but hate all the shopping and wrapping..... Well have a good and painfree day. Best to all M. E-mail: motheran12@... Guest guest
Yes, , all kinds of gadgets are available to keep one's hands warm. Mittens are usually better than gloves. I don't have anything fancy, but sometimes I use the chemical heat packets you can buy just about anywhere - drug stores, hardware stores, supermarkets, sporting goods stores. They aren't too expensive (especially if you find them on sale) and they work for a couple of hours. You can get battery-heated or microwaveable mittens, too. Here are some examples of what's out there (though I'm not recommending any site or product specifically): http://www.bestofnewengland.com/Slippers.asp http://www.twomorrowssupply.com/heated_socks.html http://www.warmwoman.com/product/245/ [ ] Snow and cold > The temp here is around 25 to 28 in Northern N.J.
