Guest guest
Your dr would probably recommend doing it at home, which means a prescription. Syringes are free, but the b-12 depends on insurance. I just duscovered that my insurance wasn't covering it because 20cc in 6 weeks exceeds the manufacturer's warning. From now on my pharmasist needs to call the insurance everytime I get a refill to get an override code. I didn't haave to show up as deficient in my bloodwork. I started receiving them at a gp, when I went to doing them once a week she switched me to at home, my dad was already experienced at giving shots, and then when I moved out and increased to 3x week under a new dr he showed me how to do them. -Alia Re: Recovery Center Thank you to many for your responses.... Would anyone be willing to let me know how you were able to receive them 2-3x/week? What type of doctor would offer you this? Did you have to show up in bloodwork as deficient? Did they give you an Rx to do it yourself? I have never had good CFS/ME care and no one has been able to help me much. Nutritional supplementation helps me to feel a bit better and less inflammed, but doesn't really touch the fatigue and cognitive fog at all.
