Guest guest
I use Xopenex in my nebulizer and have started getting the shakes after a breathing treatment. I do drink a lot of coffee. Anyone else with this problem? It does not wear off for about an hour......Lou
Guest guest
I get that every time I use it! I can use it every 4 hours and still have the shakes Terry I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much. ~Mother Teddy Bear's Early Learning ProgramEstablished August of 1992 From: asthma [mailto:asthma ] On Behalf Of walkinglou2002Sent: Saturday, August 09, 2008 8:56 AMTo: asthma Subject: Xopenex I use Xopenex in my nebulizer and have started getting the shakes after a breathing treatment. Guest guest
Yes. I cannot use Xopenex for this same reason. My doctor had given me Xopenex because Albuterol gives me the shakes and he told me Xopenex would not. Wrong for me! Xopenex was worse, so I went back to Albuterol. Marge MMR Xopenex I use Xopenex in my nebulizer and have started getting the shakes after a breathing treatment. I do drink a lot of coffee. Anyone else with this problem? Guest guest
Because Xopenex has a different chemical makeup than albuterol, it probably hasn't been studied enough to know if it's ok to mix with other neb meds. I know the dr told me I wasn't allowed to mix my Perforomist with either Xopenex or Duoneb, and it is a newer drug as well. I personally like the Xopenex much better than the albuterol. I don't get the shakes & heart palpitations nearly as bad with the Xopenex. Supposedly, it lasts longer in your system too. I actually alternate using Xopenex and Duoneb. That way I'm not getting too much of one or the other. Kathleen Yes. I cannot use Xopenex > for this same reason.
