It travels all over the body as evidenced by the fact that

not all are sensitive to this effect, can taste it in their

mouth within a few seconds

of topical application. Whether it reaches those tissues in

sufficient concentration

to have the optimal therapeutic effect is another matter.

That is more of a dose-response issue, getting the right

amount to the area where

it is needed.
