Guest guest Posted November 28, 2008 Report Share Posted November 28, 2008 It travels all over the body as evidenced by the fact that many people, perhaps not all are sensitive to this effect, can taste it in their mouth within a few seconds of topical application. Whether it reaches those tissues in sufficient concentration to have the optimal therapeutic effect is another matter. That is more of a dose-response issue, getting the right amount to the area where it is needed.
