Guest guest
Dear a and/or : I think I remember reading about a possible link between Hip B and RA. Is there such a thing anywhere on the web? Thanks in advance. Louise in Alabama.
Guest guest
Louise, I have seen a lot written in the last couple of years about the hepatitis B vaccine (not the actual infection) possibly being associated with an increased risk for the development of autoimmune diseases. In the case of RA, one theory is that people who are genetically predisposed to RA are more likely to develop the disease relatively soon after having been vaccinated for hepatitis B. Some believe any vaccination, not the hepatitis B vaccine alone, increases the risk. http://www.rheuma21st.com/archives/cutting_aronmaor_shoenfeld_vaccination_revisi\ ted.html http://www.nfid.org/docs/hepb.html [ ] Possible link between Hepatitis B and Auto-immune diseases > Dear a and/or : I think I remember reading about a possible link between Hip B and RA.
