Guest guest
I would like to add a little to what I wrote below. As soon as the renal colic from the stone has passed, start thinking about avoiding another stone! 30 year old research has shown that calcium oxylate stones (which most kidney stones are) can be prevented by taking magnesium and B6 every day! Usually 250 mg magnesium and 125 mg B6 although in recent years I have come to believe that more magnesium might be more ffective. Research showed that repeat stone formers only developed at most one more stone with this protocol. I would say if you get a lot of calcium, take 500 mg of magnesium daily. ALSO, A POSSIBLE BRAND NEW THERAPY -- Dr. Eby online has the story of a woman who ended 3 years of continual pain with 3 days of oral Gallium Nitrate. Do a web search. I have taken some 14% Gallium in water (obtained from Eby) and it seemed to end some pain over my kidneys in a few days that I was having for several months. I thought it was from a strained back, but the Gallium helps that too so I'm not sure now. It helps joint pain when rubbed on, however, for this he suggests the 42% strength, however, research was done on horse navicular disease at the 14% strength. I was afraid to order any 42% solution because it makes the skin slough off and besides, it is EXPENSIVE!!! I have tried the 14% as a rub on and orally, given it to my mom with Lupus, and my wife has taken solved a long term hand pain with it by rubbing it on. Caution, when a large part of the body is coated with it (say, the back), it soaks in quickly and literally puts me to sleep!! I don't know WHY it does that! Jp I am recopy/pasting an older " cure " from this forum as posted,(simple one at that ... for all kinds of " stones " ... LEMON JUICE. Joyce, Here goes: RE: Re: DMSO, decalcification, heart, angina, kidneys 2 lemons in a quart of water, drink throughout the day. You can sweeten it. If in extreme pain, you can drink it more concentrated, say 1 lemon to a glass of water or straight. Do this for four days or until stone is dissolved which usually by three days.
