Guest guest
Hello everyone. You may not remember me? I posted a month or so back a few times. I just wanted to say that this is a wonderful group of people and even though I have not posted, I have been reading most of the posts when I have the time. Just in case I do not get a chance, I wanted to wish you all a happy and (painfree) joyous Xmas! I am sure you are all up to your elbows in shopping, baking, wrapping, cleaning etc and are bound to have a few days of lounging with hot packs and painkillers. I hope you all manage to try and take it easy and calmly so that you can actually enjoy the holidays. While my house may not be the cleanest, and my cookies are NOT getting decorated this year, I am enjoying this time with my toddler and have decided that Xmas is not something to get so worked up over and stress about. I plan on staying in on xmas eve watching movies and cartoons, drinking hot chocolate and eating cookies. I will show up on xmas morning at my family's celebration when I get there not when I am expected and leave when I am good and ready (and tired). I WILL NOT eat 2 xmas dinners(both my family's and hubby's family's), and I will enjoy myself by letting the kid run around and wreak havoc in thier houses and not mine lol. They can deal with the aftermath! That is what Grandparents are for! I plan on being calm, relaxed and limber (I hope!). I hope you will all follow suit and let your family help out. If they do not like that I am not having their idea of the perfectly decorated, commercialized, xmas, then that is their problem and not mine. I am going to enjoy the holiday season in my own way! That said, (sorry for the ranting lol) May you all have a great holiday! Brightest Blessings, Anne
