Hi Friends,

Members often write and ask me about the above ladies. Both Dawn and

are known by many that have been on the support groups for years.

I called and talked with both yesterday. Dawn sounded fantastic. She's had

another rough year, she lost both of her sisters, one from a brain tumor,

and the other had a neurological disorder as well, just can't remember what

it was. He brother passed away years ago from ALS.

Dawn had a brain tumor removed from behind her brain stem this year, and she

sounds so much better. She said she might join the group again. Since her

stroke about 4 years ago she has problems with memory and she can't remember

lots of the old members. If she comes back, she will probably ask lots of

questions :) I'll stay after her until she joins again.

dropped off the lists about a year ago. Her computer quit working and

during the time she was off the computer, her symptoms became better. Her

doctor told her to ditch the computer, and she's had a marked relief in

symptoms since.

She is currently working at the local college teaching home health care one

day a week. She said it is lots of fun, but not nearly as satisfying as

helping fellow Chiarians. She is still without a computer, so emailing her

is difficult. She checks her email at the college once a week, but doesn't

have much time to respond, if any time.

Sorry for those that didn't know either Dawn or , but they were a part

of on line support for a long time.

I am so glad to hear that both ladies are doing well.

has provided so much information to the groups, and

shared wisdom for years. She deserves a break, that is for

sure. I am glad she and Gismo (her little dog) are well.

Dahli Dawn was very inspirational to me in the early days

of my dx way back in 2001. Her words would keep me going.

I look forward to her coming back, so that others may get to

know this wonderful little wise woman. She is trully amazing!
