Anyone with EDS have their complement component levels checked?

The reason I wanted to post this is this definition from my medical dictionary:

" Patients with complement abnormalities may be more susceptible to infection

and to collagen vascular diseases. " [Think EDS IV...]

I had this checked completely by accident and it showed levels that were (in

'06) right on the borderline low range. This was the time just before my

EDS-like symptoms really started to show up...I thought it was a bit

interesting.

I'd appreciate anyone's input!
