Re:extreme fatigue in kids with ACM/TCS/EDS

Hi ,

My son Matt now aged 16 has extreme fatigue as well. He has cm and EDS

hypermobile (no cardiac issues have been found) he has had periods in school

where he has had to go to the nurses office to lay down. He falls asleep in the

car and has to lay down alot on the weekends and just conks out.He also says he

wakes up very fatigued even if he has slept 8-10 hrs. He is not on any

medication that would make him tired. He did try Lyrica for a few days but then

getting him up was almost impossible so he is off of it .

He did have a snore sat test and has a bit of obtructive apnea but the test

found more disturbances not related to the apnea. I was wondering too if it

related to restless legs or tethered cord causing him not to have comfortable

sleep ? We havent got any answers here about the sleep but yup he is pretty

drag down tired most of the time.
