Guest guest
Hi All, This group formed after my decompression surgery, but I know some of my old chiari friends now subscribe to this group. So I just want to let everyone know that I am doing really well after 5 long hard, sometimes dark times over the last 5 years of healing from my surgery at TCI. I was an extremely slow healer and am doing very well now. Happy New Years wishes to all and I want to let everyone know to remain hopeful. There are success stories and I am one of them. I am back to doing just about everything I could do 7 years ago, before this crazy condition surfaced, except back to working full time in my career. But going into the surgery my prayers were simple, to just be able to be a Mom and wife again, and with God's grace I have been blessed. I celebrate my new normal. I went from bedridden, using a wheelchair, a rolator, and now occasionally a cane. It has taken every bit of 5 years and to achieve this and I am thrilled. Thanks to all the old timers who are still checking in on this group who helped me with all my questions and concerns. I too hope you are all well, and I wish you peace. from Delaware ACM I and SM Decompression TCI 1/7/03 Cranioplasty Duraplasty Tonsils cauterized Partial Lamenectomy C1 and C2
