Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have not posted in quite some time but I always read the post and answer any post privately that I think I can help. Anyway, my question is....I had TCS 9 weeks ago. I still have so much back and leg pain, I cannot stand up straight, and in the past few weeks I cannot get enough sleep (12-14-16+ hours a day). My head hurts so bad all of the time so I just want to sleep to not feel the pain. This past weekend I kept feeling like I was going to pass out when I would stand up, I also would see stars and feel so light-headed. So, tonight after being again soooo fatigued.. I checked my blood pressure: When sitting it was 98/60 and when I stood up it dropped to 88/-. That certainly explains the light-headedness. My question to ya'll is " how long did it take you to feel better agin? " I am not sure if I had posted after my MRI last month but it showed that I had an area that appeared to be from a spinal leak and that I had 2 disk (one that they supposedly fixed) that is buldging?? I sent my films to TCI (my local family doctor freaked when he saw the MRI results and called me from home to tell me to call TCI ASAP). I sent the films about 1 week before Christmas and I have not heard a thing yet. I have emailed my nurse and Dr.B. Not sure if they were out for the Holiday's or not. I am not sure if my symptoms are from this " Probable slow leak " or if they are from something else. Gosh, it is so frustrating... I want to feel better so bad. I feel so bad for my family, first they have to deal with me being gone when I have surgery, then I don't get better?? My poor husband is such a saint. I could not have made it this far without him. Dr.B wants me to have CCF but I am so afraid of just feeling worse. Well, sorry for the lengthy post. I guess I should post more instead of trying to fit weeks into one post! ;0) Thanks to all of you and my prayers are ALWAYS for everyone of ya'll to feel better and the doctors to " cure " us! God Bless and rest pain free as possible, Mindy
