Guest guest
Another alternative to rehydration formula is one I got from a traveller's 1st aid book about 20 years ago. I have used and recommended it many times. It is simple and effective. 1/2 litre clear apple juice 1/2 litre water 1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt (sea salt prefered, but whatever is available will do) Loreen Dawson, ND Sechelt, BC Family Medicine > > Dear UNDA Group, > > The WHO Oral Rehydration Solution formula is in the Merck Manual, > here is the link: > http://www.merck.com/mmpe/sec19/ch276/ch276c.html > > 1 L of water to 3.5 g NaCl, 2.9 g trisodium citrate (or 2.5 g NaHCO3), > 1.5 g KCL, and 20 g glucose. > > E.
