Guest guest Posted January 13, 2008 Report Share Posted January 13, 2008 Hello I was diagnosed with Chiari in September. I went to a Neurosurgeon in October and he said they only option was Surgery. I did not want to go through this before the holidays so I waited. I am 35 years old, Married with 2 children 13 and 7. I am scheduled for surgery on January 24th at our local hospital. I live in upstate NY. Now that the date is getting closer I'm getting nervous. I have stayed very positive and am trying to continue to be. Sometimes I think I am so positive I think oh the headaches aren't that bad or I have a had several good days why am I doing this.
