Thanks so much for your birthday wishes and sweet words. You’re a real

honey you know! I’m sitting here in the boiling heat (okay we’ve got

air-conditioning but going out is a nightmare) reading about everyone’s snow

stories – it’s torture lol! I love snow but must say have never lived

anywhere where it snowed so never had to deal with the practicalities of it.

I saw a lot of snow on a trip Jules and I went on to Europe after

finishing our studying – it was magical. It even snowed in Paris when we

were there – which was nice for about 10 minutes then a bit gross and slushy

when it started melting all over the grimy streets.

Whenever you’re too cold think of being here on my little island under a

palm tree with a Pina Colada and one of Debs Cabana boys to fan you.

Welcome to the group, it’s nice to “meet” you :-)

We do have other members that have had JRA so you will be able to find

others with similar experiences to your own. Just jump in and make yourself

at home!

It’s great that your JRA is in remission, I’ll pray it stays that way!

I’m 27 and was diagnosed with RA at 25. I live in Mauritius (an Island in

the Indian Ocean) with my husband, n and our 21 dogs! Yip, 21 Lol! I’m

pregnant with our first baby and seem to be heading for a remission during

my pregnancy, although I’m still taking a light dose of Prednisone the

doctors are trying to wean me off it altogether.

I’m looking forward to getting to know you!
