Hi Everyone,

A lot of you might know me and a lot of you will not.? Just want to let some of

you know that I'm doing ok.? I still receive and read most of the posts, but

have had to stay away from all of the groups in order to concentrate on getting

better.? I noticed that an individual in this group also needed some time away

from the group after realizing with Kathleen's help that he/she was dealing with

depression.? I know that I've been dealing with it too after my tethered cord

surgery.

I have not been able to get past the amount of bone pain that I still have in my

back and realize that the pain may never go away. ? This pain is relentless at

times and it limits what I'm able to do.? I've been under pain management since

the end of March and I do not like having to do this, but I have no choice and

I've tried everything else with no relief.? Like I said, I'm ok, but very

frustrated and depressed at times with the pain.? On the bright side, I've kept

off the 60 pounds I lost before and after surgery (20 before and 40 after --

Yes, I eat just fine), and I still get up every single day and do the things I

have to do. It has almost been 1 1/2 years since surgery and the surgery did fix

some problems so I'm thankful for that.? It is just that the bone loss and pain

from it reminds me every single day that I have to be extremely careful and

watch everything that I do.? It also makes me suffer tremendously if I push it a

little.? It does not take much for me to be down in my back for days at a time.?

Anyway, as much as I have loved helping others and the help I received from this

group and other groups, until I can get back to my old self for the most part, I

have to stay away.?

Take care,
