Guest guest
So, my NS called me tonight. He has decided that the pain I have been having is " Consistant since surgery' and is not normal recovery pains. So, he wants me to get an upright MRI based on Dr.Milhorat's latest diagnostic updates for instability. However he feels that it is a slight instability. He still says there is no diagnostic proof and the measurements will be minimal at best, but still something he thinks should be addressed now. YEAH!! He agrees with me That is exciting. He says I <can> be treated locally but it would have to be by someone that he can talk to on the phone directly. Yeah, I think not. My second option would be for him to do it, but I am not sure how many he has done - and he doesn't seem too sure of himself. He keeps referring to " Dr. Milhorat and his team have " done this or done that. The thirs option would be to go to TCI. To do that I would need to go to UCSF, get a referral to TCI (so my insurance would pay for travel). This is my brain and its cover.. I want it done right and hopefully the first 2nd time. What do you all think? Should I: 1. go Local with my NS on the phone. 2. Go with my current NS a couple states away 3. Go to TCI Personally I am stuck between them all... Ick, I don't like this. That is why I am so glad I have all of you That leaves one more question... I was suppose to return to school for my last semester before graduating (BA in Accounting). Do I go back and put all of this on hold just hoping I will have enough good days to pass all my tests? Or, do I get it taken care of NOW and hope I can graduate next year?... eeks 2009 (I will be 35). That is enough questions and stuff for tonight. I look forward to hearing from you and helping me decide what to do. Terri
