You're welcome, Kathe. I have a hard time understanding why some

physicians recommend the Atkins diet, especially for people who already

have significant and complicated health problems and meds.

I think a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables, little

junk food, and total calories on the lower but safe side is always a

good place to start. Increasing the amount you exercise in addition to

more healthful eating is also likely to help you in your weight-loss

efforts.
