Oh, Tess. I’m so proud of you!!! I wish I could say I have lost weight,

but the holidays are a tough time for me. For you to have lost 10 pounds

right before Christmas, well that just makes it all the more awesome.

Also, good for you for being so assertive. I’m normally a pretty

mild-mannered person, but when I need to I can speak up for myself and be

assertive in a “good” way. I could never be aggressive, but I can be

assertive. For a long time I don’t think I knew the difference, and because

I didn’t want to be aggressive, I was a little too meek. Not anymore. When

Stan needs a situation “handled”, he has me take care of it. My Mom, too.

LOL. Hopefully, they’ll get to the bottom of the Sjorgen’s question soon.

Hi..My weight is down 10.1 pounds!!!!!!!!!! I felt like it was down,

but I had NO idea how much. I use the same, digital scale and wear the

same shoes everytime for consistancy.

I have been more conscious about my eating, but haven't deprived myself

of some holiday treats. I think the range-of-motion & srengthening

exercises, and pushing myself to walk just a bit more is helping. I did

the " happy dance " down the hospital hall, well, at least in my mind!

Do you all remember they lost my bloodwork & orders for the Sjorgren's?

Well, my Dr's RN called the other day and apologized and said my rheummy

faxed orders to the lab. I get to the lab today...no current orders. I

was so cheerful and assertive I about shocked myself. I wasn't going

ANYWHERE til they figured it out So, the lab tech walked over to my

rheummy's office...she was gone about 15 minutes, and came back with the

orders. He ordered the SSA & SSB, but also some extra tests regarding

anemia. I didn't know he was goig to do that, but I have been anemic

quite awhile. Anyway, it's done. He's usually pretty good about

calling or sending a letter.
