Guest guest
Stacey, I'm really sorry to hear that you are not doing well. At least Wyatt's uncle is there to help you two. What a sweet guy. Your problems sound very serious. I'm glad that you have some upcoming appointments. I hope they bear fruit and that you can get back to feeling more normal. I wonder what in the heck is going on with your back. Try not to let the holiday stress do you in. I know that here people will understand about the cards. Don't worry about stuff that. Just take care of yourself and Wyatt. I'll be thinking of you. [ ] My turn to whine > Hi All, > Just wanted to send a quick note to let you know how I am doing. I am not > feeling well at all. Guest guest
Dodge, Whine away Sweetie, I whine for you also. I swear when things go right for a while for you, I am going to shout Hallelujah!!!! Of course the girls here will have me committed, but I'll make me some new friends. I hope the skin graft goes well and is a success. Sorry about the air conditioner. Maybe it is something simple, like a tube or hose stopped up. Shirley > > Ok, so I'd been taking Soma since Wednesday for the back spasms I had and yesterday, the spasms finally let up. I come off the Soma, and am so shaky and messed up that I got benched. I hate that! > > After a few hours, I was feeling better, so my director let me back out on the streets where I belong, but today the shakes are back. Lovely. It's 98º and Rod wants me to turn the air conditioner off because he's afraid of a short and thus a fire. I tell him, " Well, if there's a fire, we're firefighters, we can put it out. " He doesn't appreciate my smart remark and I refuse to turn off the air-con, which leads to our first fight in 2 years. Ok, he finally agrees to let me have my way, (I'm the one who usually gives in, he's my care-giver and has just naturally taken the dominant role, which is fine with me), and leave the air conditioner on. Now, I've got to worry about why the darn thing is leaking water and get it fixed! Your ready to go home,(where it's nice and cool), get some rest, and try to feel better after the Soma. I would be agitated SO bad. I'm sure Rod understands. I'm sorry the skin graft is tomorrow. Please, know I'm sending good vibes your way, and hope everything goes well. I'm sorry about the news about the search dog, I hope they can find out what is wrong, and able to help him. I would sure get Ricco checked out. May you have a good night rest, and the week will get better. Guest guest
Goodness, Dodge - when it rains, it pours. I just wanted to share a thought with you about your air conditioner - it sounds like its just a plugged drain line. If you can locate that tube, you could flush it out with water and that should take care of it...........Doreen > > Ok, so I'd been taking Soma since Wednesday for the back spasms I had and yesterday, the spasms finally let up. Guest guest
Dodge, I haven't had any problems with Soma except that it doesn't always work (that you notice), but I haven't had reactions from many meds I've been on. I can give you some help on the AC problem. Like the others have said, it's a stopped up drain from the evaporator coil. I don't know if you have a window or full house unit, but the same repair method is the same. You will find the coil near the place the fan and filter are. The coil will be wet from accumulating 'sweat' and it should be draining down and out through a hose. A window unit has a small hole draining the water to the back of the unit. It can be stopped up from rust or just plain 'yuck'. Both styles have the same general method of draining, so find the pipe or hose or channel that drains the water and unstop it. I hope this helps you find it and save a visit from a pro. I thnk between you and Rod, you can figure it out. At least I hope so... Guest guest
Dennis and group: Thanks for all the info about the air-con thing. It was a stopped up coil, and we did manage to figure it out. To those who have asked, we have central air. Not that it makes much difference, because sometimes, you'd never know it. -- Dodge Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and wrong, because sometime in your life you will have been all of these.
