Stan - we need your advice

We were given today Valtrex for the first time, for our 2.5 years old

and 36 lb son Kacper. Doctor recommended 500 mg daily in one or two

doses. I know that you recommend to give it three times a day so I'll

will do it this way, but is 500 mg enough for the beginning? When can

we increase that? We also started today diflucan and he's been on GSE

for a month.

The other thing is that today he's got a fever 100.5 ( no other

symptoms)and I gave him Valtrex anyway. Was it a good idea? Please

answer our question. We appreciate it.
