" i self-diagnosed FIBROMYALGIA, at age 50. this was then confirmed by a rheumatologist. at age 64, i was dx. by tci as " chiari zero " . i am now 67. the head pain continues, but at least i know there is a REASON. i am definitely too old to consider the surgery to address this. fibromyalgia is the LEAST of my problems....dianne Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest guest Posted January 7, 2008 Report Share Posted January 7, 2008 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia after my car accident in 2004 and was not dx with Chiari until June 2007. I have been taking Lyrica for Fibromyalgia since before I was dx with Chiari, however it I am not sure just how much of a difference it has made. I wish you the best of luck.
