hi this joyce,

one of my daughters, she is 15 is been on a heart monitor. she had it for a

month and then at her follow up dr said it was ok, but the nurse who made her

follow up said didnt the dr call but he hadnt.

she said she thought he was going to because of some things on the ekg reading

we sent in.

at the follow up he said things were fine but the things the nurse said about

the dr calling but he never did made me think something didnt seem right.

i asked the dr if her fast rate didnt need anything else, and then he decided

to give her another monitor for another month.

it has been two weeks and the dr called and told me he is sending her to an

electrophylisist who studies the electrical system of the heart because her

heart rate was recorded over 150 bpm.

im familiar with that because i have wolf parkinson white which makes your

heart speed up usually for only minutes and it can go very fast to where you can

only sit til it goes away. i had a cardiac ablation in sept for it because it

was getting dangerous my cardilogist had told me. knowing about chiari and heart

had me little confused and harder to make my decision.

since the procedure i have been experienceing aurora in my vision once or

twice every two weeks, not sure if the ablation created a problem. they are

still checking.

my heart beat is much better though and i havent woke up at night feeling

like im dying and trying to get my air back and my heart racing at the same

time.

for me it took a month to settle down but i still noticed a huge imediate

change.

i had an electrophyclisist, who for four yrs had tried to get me to have it

fixed. i was too scared

discussions are not considered with a dr that she has seen regarding chiari,

that my insurance will cover, because her symptoms arent enought to meet

criteria for chiari. so even though 9mm chiari is a chiari and she is diagnosed

with it, just because no surgey, shouldnt mean we couldnt talk about some of her

symptoms like her heart which could have possibility to be related.

i hope i can figure it all out to make a correct decision when the

electrophylogist suggsts treatment.

for another subject, my tounge is always sore, and tomatoes have always

bothered it and any thing similar. but i stay away from al sorts stuff and stil

very sore, if anyone has ideas to sooth or heal your tounge if it is irritated?

and my head very sore too, i hardly touch it to wash my hair, its worse and

better but usually sore and i dont put any chemicals directly on my head ever.

i go to health food stores and all that and take vitimans and maginesum now

but havnt notice changes with soreness.

one more thing, my 17 yr old son has chiari 9mm and flat pitutary and sweats a

lot, anyone have similar symptoms and how to stop it or even if it could be

chiari related?
