Birth Control for problems, not for pregnancy prevention

I have a new doc. He's great for this big small (big town, small medical

community) town. He actually cares about my ACM and EDS but he isn't

educated about it. He wants a note from my doctors (which is TCI, except I

haven't been there in over two years because of my daughter's death). I'm

really happy he's paying attention and wants to know. It is refreshing

compared to the docs I've had in the past. But I don't want to bug TCI with

this knowing how darn busy they are, and would like to provide him with

some credible medical info that states that birth control is just fine. It

is to control some major problems I'm having. In fact, tomorrow I go in to

see if I have cancer or not...scared...At any rate, anyone have some

specific place/medical article they can direct me to?
