Guest guest
Hello All, My little guy who is 3 was diagnosed not too long ago with Chiari type 1, he has a herniation of 10mm. I have seen the word " syrinx " used a lot on the site, I'd like to call his neuro surgeon tomorrow as ask them if he has this but I'd like to know what this means? Also, Kaden's herniation is 10mm, does anyone have smaller children with it this large? Have or will they have surgery? Kaden has the nausea, fatigue, headaches, and no appitite at all (he's only 30 lbs) so we know he has the symptoms of chiari. I'm just not sure about what the syrinx and the herniation mean. Thanks so much in advance :-)
