Addisons and endocrine issues

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to ask a quick question: has anyone on

the group experienced endocrine (hormonal) problems,

particularly s disease?

I ask because my neurologist wants me to have a

Synacthen (sp?) test, which involves injecting a

synthetic hormone and then measuring cortisol levels.

It doesn't sound very nice. But many symptoms such as

low bp, fatigue etc could be attributed to s so

it might be worth it.

I don't know if there's a link between Chiari and

endocrine problems such as this but it would be

interesting to know if any of you have suffered from

these types of problems and especially if you have had

the test I mentioned.
