Guest guest
I am a 44 y.o. woman with CFS. I have been gaining weight the last couple of years and have recently started to eat more healthy - - more veggies, fruit, lean meats, much much less refined carbs. Exercise would help I'm sure, but there is only so much I can do w/out getting wiped out for days. It's very frustrating. I joined the Y a while back but couldn't even keep up with their easiest fitness class. The trainer put me on an elliptical machine and I couldn't even do two minutes, she seemed shocked. Trainers don't understand CFS from what I have found over the years. Does anyone relate to this and have any suggestions? Eating better and taking vitamins seems to help my energy a bit but I'm not losing the weight. Is it harder once you get over 40? I do walk a little every day but I can never get over about 20 minutes at a time.... Thanks!
