I can sleep at least 9 hours a night, I need it and when I am having asthma problems I need rest sometimes just cleaning the dishes are an effort.

I suggest reading the possible side effects of everything you've been taking to control your asthma. Antihistamines, in particular, can make you feel overwhelmingly sluggish.
