I didn't mean to imply winters are short where I live. Actually they are

6 or more months long. Our frost free growing season is only 90 days. We

have nothing like spring as milder climates know it. We have winter,

then mud, then summerm LOL.

It is justt that the sun is at a high enough angle for outdoor exposure

to do some good from March to October.

The book The UV Advantage, by Holick, M.D. has tables for sun

exposure for different skin types depending on the lattitude one lives at.
