For those who had decompression and THEN found out they had a tethered cord...

Did any of you experience post-op numbness in your lower spine/buttock region

but it only lasted a few days or a week and then feeling returned? Did having

the decompression seem to help for a few short weeks but then you started to

digress? Did your leg symptoms progress to be worse than they were prior to

your decompression?

We will be going to TCI and get a definitive answer, but I have been

considering the possibility more and more than Tasha may have a tethered cord

.... or, that her syrinx is expanding again...but, with the numbness, I am

leaning toward TC.

Anyway, I know that no one here can give a true medical opinion, but waiting

and not knowing drives me nuts! Thanks in advance for any insight and replies,
